FAQs

How do I look after my pot?

Each pot is dishwasher safe however the abrasive nature of some dishwasher detergents can damage a pot with repeated use so hand washing is preferable.

Why did my item disappear from my basket?

Please be mindful that an order is not confirmed until the checkout process has been completed. This means any items sitting in your basket are still able to be purchased by other customers.

Can I commission an item?

I am open to discussing commissions involving bespoke items as well as the potential to collaborate on projects. If you have something in mind, please contact me via my email or contact form.

Why does my item look different?

I take great care to photograph each item individually and make sure these images convey the true qualities of each pot accurately. Whilst the item you purchase will be the pot you receive the different display settings on the device you are viewing the photos with can sometimes result in a slight variation of tone and texture from what you expect.

Why is my item wonky?

All of my pots are handmade and either thrown on the pottery wheel or are hand built using a variety of different techniques. As such they cannot be compared to ceramics that are manufactured in a factory setting and it is their handmade nature that brings a unique quality to them. Moreover, due to the nature of the firing process I use, such as wood firing, this can mean pots slightly distort or warp and are not always perfectly round at the rim.
